When you hear the term Samson, what do you think of? Long hair, maybe? Delilah for certain! The ability to kill things (or people) with one’s bare hands…possibly. Mainly though, it’s possible you think of strength!
Samson, found in the Old Testament , was the strongest man in the world. He had unlimited potential and was chosen to be the leader of an entire nation. However, his shortcomings overtook his opportunities and left him as an example of one who had great things ahead, but squandered opportunities.
That’s somewhat how I feel about education. Doesn’t matter if it is public, private or homeschool…I feel like there is a lot of opportunity, in fact, unlimited potential, that is lost in Washington or state houses throughout the nation. It’s time to be strong…SAMSON STRONG, when it comes to our kids and the education they receive.
A new site, MySamson.net, (Science, Art, Math Social Online Network) is poised to do that. It is developed with the family in mind and it purposed to provide homes with good information about all types of education. It is meant to be a community for families to connect…in the future, MySamson.net will be a place where families can be instrumental in helping develop classes that there children can take online.
Let’s take back education. This can be a partnership between public school families, private school families and homeschool families…all with the same goal. Providing what is best for our children.
